Reemo is an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2004 by Steven Connolly and David Reardon. The lineup later expanded to include guitarist Paul McGlue, Conleth Dunne, and Steven Connolly’s brother, Alan Connolly. The band subsequently relocated to Sallins, County Kildare. Following Reardon’s departure, Reemo won the Best International Band award at the New York International Music Festival in November 2004. In 2005, the band toured with The Revs and released the Music Box EP.

Reemo’s debut single, “Who You Are / Line,” reached number 35 on the IRMA Singles Chart. Their second single, “Rushin Man,” spent five weeks on the chart, peaking at number 33.

In 2008, Italian keyboardist and guitarist Igor Biasini joined the band. Reemo released their debut studio album, Colours, in 2009. The album was produced by Martin Quinn of JAM Studios and Marc Carolan of Suite Studios. Colours received mixed critical reception; while The Irish Times described it as “jaded and dated,” other reviews were more favourable. The album was preceded by the singles “Chocolate Covered Gorgeous,” “Sometimes,” and “Cuba Part 1 – The Story So Far.” Chocolate Covered Gorgeous received significant airplay on Phantom FM, and the band supported the release with a series of live performances.
